THE SLATE STORY

In 2014 some local filmmakers in the Inland Empire wanted to show the world that media just didn't exist in Hollywood or New York, but all over the nation. So Slate Inc (Supporting Local Filmmakers Through Empowerment) a 501c3 non profit was formed. Our goals are to provide local film and media artists with a network to collaborate, develop, and produce local film and media content. Also, to develop education materials on the production of film and media for all levels of students. Lastly, we will research how media and the learning of media and film can enhance education and careers for all in the Inland Empire.
